This flight jacket from DOUBLE HELIX is an authentic reproduction of the Type A-2 Rough Wear 23380, the third of a total of five jackets produced by the renowned Rough Wear company for the US Air Force. Developed in the 1940s, the A-2 combines functionality with timeless style and is a symbol of the pioneering spirit of aviation.

The authentic version of DOUBLE HELIX is crafted from high-quality horsehide and impressively showcases the craftsmanship of the Japanese label. The "tea-core" dyeing process, a traditional vegetable technique, prevents the color from fully penetrating the leather, giving it a unique, vibrant patina that develops even more character over time.

Every detail, from the 100% wool cuffs to the lining, has been meticulously recreated to match the original.
