Old Joe Brand's "Athletic Tee Scar Face" incorporates early sportswear details: a reduced neckline without ribbing and a lined back neck area, reminiscent of training shirts from the first half of the 20th century. The silhouette appears clean, almost raw, and therein lies its expressiveness.

Colored with pigments, the result is a tone with depth and a grainy surface. This is combined with Old Joe's "Scar Face" approach – a design that incorporates aging, repair marks, and patina as design elements. Every area appears naturally grown, not artificially created.

The jersey is knitted from specially developed yarn, inspired by so-called wartime yarns. Shorter fibers, neps, and fine plant remnants are deliberately retained. This creates a vibrant texture with an uneven feel and visible structure – exactly the kind of fabric that develops even more character over time.
