The "Shinku Bandana" by Kobashi Studio skillfully combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. It is made of pure cotton and screen-printed in a centuries-old factory in Tokyo. The intense coloring impresses with its exceptional luminosity – thanks to a careful dyeing technique, the color penetrates completely to the back.

The bandana is dyed in "Shinku," a deep and vibrant traditional red obtained from safflowers and valued in Japan for its cultural significance. The floral pattern is based on a historic Japanese chrysanthemum design and was hand-illustrated and given a modern interpretation by artist Junichi Kobashi.
