The "Kingham West Moon's Blackwatch" jacket by BARBOUR is crafted from Blackwatch tartan by Abraham Moon & Sons. The characteristic pattern of dark blue, green, and black dates back to the Scottish Highland regiments and later became known as the "Government Tartan."
The wool fabric used comes from Abraham Moon & Sons in Guiseley, West Yorkshire. This traditional mill was founded in 1837 and is today one of the few fully vertically integrated wool mills in Great Britain: from raw wool to yarn, weaving, and the finished cloth, the individual production steps are carried out on-site.
The blazer is made of 100% wool and lined with viscose. The modern, single-breasted construction features two back vents, darts, and a half-rever. A classic tartan blazer that combines Scottish pattern tradition with British tailoring.
