The "Beanie Dark Indigo" by STUDIO D'ARTISAN follows the cut of the classic watch cap: a close-fitting knitted beanie with a wide cuff, as it has been worn for generations at sea and at work. STUDIO D'ARTISAN translates this simple shape into the material that made the brand famous – indigo.

The beanie is knitted from 100% cotton, with yarn that is rope-dyed in indigo. In this process, the dye primarily coats the outer layers of the yarn, while the core remains lighter. Through wear and washing, the surface gradually wears away and the beanie lightens – starting at the cuff and the edges, where it is subjected to the most friction. The dark base tone creates a distinct contrast.
