The "Beltless Waist Jean Trouser" by Old Joe Brand is reminiscent of the wide painter pants of the 1930s – functional workwear with a clean line. The cut is generous, slightly tapered, and brings back the relaxed silhouette of that time, as seen in workshops and construction sites.

Typical of the original: triple-stitched, with square pockets and no belt loops – simple, functional and full of character.

Made from 12.4oz Old Joe Original Denim in the renowned Ibaraki region. The warp and weft yarns have been specially selected to emphasize the natural, rustic texture of the denim: irregular nubs, vibrant indigo tones in the warp and beige nuances in the weft create depth and texture.

The denim is traditionally rope-dyed in indigo – each thread is dipped multiple times in deep indigo, without the color penetrating completely into the fibers. This creates small, irregular shades that slowly bloom with wear. With each day, the pants gain more character, and the fading is vibrant and individual.
