The "A-3 Mechanic Cap" by Buzz Rickson's dates back to 1942, when the Army Air Corps introduced this lightweight headwear for mechanics. Developed for everyday use on the airfield – functional, uncomplicated, made for action.

Buzz Rickson's faithfully reproduces the original. Fit, materials, and workmanship are closely based on historical models.

Made from robust herringbone twill, which is lightweight and durable. The brim is pre-washed, seams are neatly reinforced, and the interior is lined with cotton tape.

The USAAF stamp is found on the back – a direct reference to the equipment of that era.
