Chambray Work Shirt Short Sleeve

The Chambray Shirt by Buzz Rickson's is based on the classic work shirts of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army – simple, functional shirts worn for decades on ships, in workshops, and at military bases.

Chambray is not denim, but it looks similar: a plain weave with indigo-dyed warp and white weft threads. The result is a light, airy fabric with a clear texture and a dry, direct feel.

With wear, the material develops its own character. Sun, washing, and movement slowly lighten the indigo, and the surface becomes softer, more lively – similar to unwashed denim, but lighter and finer in expression.
