Based on the classic fatigue, or "Baker Pants", the "OG-107 Fatigue Shorts" by Buzz Ricksons, with their button panel and the cotton satin used, are based on the early models from the mid-1950s. Under their original name OG 107, where "OG" stands for olive green and "107" for the color code of the US Army, they were issued to American soldiers during the Vietnam era. The fatigues quickly found their way into pop and anti-consumer culture. In the late 70s, everyone from San Francisco hippies to London punks wore a fatigue. In addition to the M-65 field jacket, the fatigue pants can also be seen in numerous films such as "Platoon".
