The "Buscemi Boot" by Chico Imrie is an exclusive development for Burg & Schild – created in close collaboration with Julian Imrie.
The last was developed by Imrie by hand and combines a slightly elongated line with a balanced toe. The shape follows a natural foot alignment and provides stable support in the heel area without narrowing the silhouette.
Vacchetta Nera is used, a vegetable-tanned cowhide with a dense fiber structure. The leather shows a smooth, slightly waxy surface and develops depth, shine, and individual signs of wear with use. Instead of uniform aging, lively, irregular changes occur through movement and use.
The construction is Goodyear welted, combined with a balanced choice of materials. A leather midsole provides stability, while the AIRBORNE Gripflex sole adds durability and suitability for everyday use without disturbing the appearance.
Production is in small batches in Italy – with a focus on precision, consistency, and long-term wear.
