The "Lot No. BR25996 / White Chambray Work Shirt (Long Sleeve)" by BUZZ RICKSON’S is modeled after the classic chambray work shirts that were part of the U.S. Navy’s utility clothing since the 1930s. This model is based on a version from the 1950s. While the cut and details evolved over the decades, the early models up to the 1950s feature several characteristic traits that also distinguish this reproduction.

These include the side gussets at the hem, the separate collar stand, and the split front placket. The shirt is crafted from a loosely woven chambray, with a texture that perfectly matches these historical originals. The low tension during weaving gives the fabric its slightly irregular surface, which changes with every wash, increasingly taking on the look of a genuine workwear classic.
