Classic Beaufort Wax Olive

BARBOUR's "Classic Beaufort Wax Olive" was developed in 1983 by Margaret Barbour for British country life and hunting. Its signature feature is the full-width, lined rear pocket – nowadays handy for a newspaper or small items, but originally part of hunting gear.

The Beaufort is crafted from 6oz Sylkoil, Barbour’s waxed cotton with a matte finish. It also features the classic corduroy collar, a robust two-way zip with a storm flap, and two large bellows pockets. The handwarmer pockets are lined with moleskin. Inside, it features the Barbour Classic Tartan.

The Beaufort has a slightly longer cut than the Bedale and is designed in a regular fit. There is an additional zipped pocket on the back, while the sleeves feature internal adjustable Velcro cuffs to seal against draughts and wet weather. An internal zip allows it to be combined with an optional zip-in liner.
