The "CM47 HBT Baker Pants" by JELADO trace back to the M-47, the utility and field trousers introduced by the US Army in 1947 as the successor to the M-43. They were worn both in action and for heavy labor. Compared to the previous model, the large side cargo pockets were omitted.

The fabric is the first in the new COMBAT MILLS series, for which JELADO disassembled and analyzed original military textiles. It is woven from a herringbone twill made of cotton from the American South. As with the historical originals, S- and Z-twisted yarns alternate in the warp. This increases tear resistance and gives the herringbone pattern its clearly defined structure. The surface remains slightly irregular, with a feel that is both soft and sturdy.
