The "BR12247 Tropical Combat Jacket" by Buzz Rickson's was developed in 1962 specifically for use by the US armed forces in Vietnam. Crafted from ultra-tightly woven, extremely durable, yet super-lightweight cotton poplin, it's ideal for locations with high humidity and temperatures. Functional pockets provide space for organized storage. It became world-famous, especially through Robert Duvall's portrayal of Lieutenant Colonel Bill Kilgore in Francis Ford Coppola's war epic "Apocalypse Now."
