The " Buzz Rickson's BR52550 Combat Tropical Shorts are based on the legendary "3rd Pattern Jungle Pant" of the US Army, reinterpreted here as knee-length shorts. Made from breathable cotton poplin, they represent what the original was designed for: lightness and unrestricted freedom of movement in tropical conditions.

Authentic details like the classic button placket and the stowable leg straps on the cargo pockets combine functionality with history. These straps were originally used to secure heavy bag contents to the legs while marching—today they are a subtle nod to military practicality.
