After World War II, the first Sukajan emerged in Japan - elaborately embroidered souvenir jackets that American soldiers took home with them. This model from Tailor Toyo picks up on the imagery of the early 1950s and carries it through cleanly.

As an "Aging Model" version, the material brings depth right from the start. The sheen is broken, the colors are calmer, the embroidery is set. It doesn't look new - more like a piece that's been around for a while.
