The "Gathered Waist Marlboro Shirt" by Old Joe Brand combines an open-collar shirt with a classic mid-century sportswear reference and an unusually constructed hem solution.

The core feature is the integrated elastic drawstring at the hem. This creates a gathered finish that cinches the shirt at the bottom without altering its actual straight cut. The top-button arrangement, double chest pockets, and clean placket follow a functional, minimalist design.

It is made from a ramie/linen mix. Ramie is a very tear-resistant natural fiber with a dry, slightly grainy surface. In combination with linen, a fabric with noticeable texture, high stability, and a controlled, rather firm drape is created. Typical features also include slightly irregular color and surface effects, which result from the dyeing process and the natural fiber structure.
