The "Handcrafted Horsehide Animals" from The Real McCoy’s are made from high-quality horsehide, sourced from the same production as the brand's leather jackets.

Vegetable-tanned horsehide with a pigment finish is used. The vegetable tanning ensures a dense, stable fiber structure, while the pigmentation creates a uniform surface. The leather has a firm feel with a clearly defined surface and remains dimensionally stable enough for the precise elaboration of small volumes.

Only remnant hides from jacket production are used, which are too small for clothing but fully retain their quality and structure. As a result, each piece shows slight differences in grain and surface.
