The "Icons Beaufort Wax Bordeaux" by Barbour is a reissue of the Beaufort, which Margaret Barbour introduced in 1983 as a jacket for hunting. She found the inspiration for it on a trip to France.
The waxed cotton outer fabric keeps out wind and rain. Where the fabric becomes dull at creases and edges over time, it can be re-waxed – and a rich colour like Bordeaux develops its own unique patina over the years.
Clean with a damp cloth only. Please refer to the care label.
