The "IHJ-49-BLK Split Steer Modified Type III Jacket" by Iron Heart combines the classic Type III with an everyday construction according to Shinichi Haraki's vision. The torso is slightly longer than the historical model, complemented by two hand warmer pockets and two internal snap pockets. The jacket is manufactured by FourSpeed in Japan, a producer specializing in leather clothing.

It is made from 1.4 mm thick Split Steer Roughout Leather from Himeji. The rough flesh side of the leather faces outwards, providing a distinctive, tactile surface. With wear, the nap compacts, signs of use become part of the material, and the leather develops a unique patina.

A cotton twill lining complements the robust construction, while the combination of single and double chain stitching is typical for Iron Heart.

Note: The intense black dyeing of the leather can rub off on light-colored clothing, as well as light-colored seats and upholstery, especially when first worn. We therefore recommend conscious handling with light-colored materials.
