The style of the IRON HEART "IHM-45" jacket is based on the A-2 Deck Jacket, which was issued to US Navy sailors in the early 1960s. It was the successor to the legendary N-1 Deck Jacket. The changes involved the choice of a lighter material and the modification of some functional details: the collar was modified, the hem was fitted with an adjustable drawstring, and an additional chest pocket was added for greater versatility.

The IRON HEARTS version is made of robust, oiled cotton whipcord. Wind and moisture are kept out by the special, tightly woven fabric, and the additional oil treatment enhances this effect. Lined with temperature-regulating wool, it keeps you warm even in icy temperatures.
