IHSH-389-IND 12 oz. Dobby Cloth CPO Shirt

The IRON HEART shirt "IHSH-389-IND" is a western-inspired CPO shirt made of 12oz Japanese Selvedge Sashiko Dobby fabric. Sashiko dates back to the 17th century and is a traditional Japanese folk embroidery. It is used for both decorative and functional reinforcement of fabrics.

The combination of the 12oz dobby weave with the sashiko technique creates an impressively complex weave with a deep structure that is still soft and supple.

The warp threads are dyed with indigo "Rope-Dyed", which means the color will fade with wear and washing, while the weft threads are dyed with indigo "Cheese Dyed" and the sashiko thread is dyed with indigo "Reactive Dyed", which means the color will not fade.
