The "IHSH-439-PUR 9 oz. Selvedge Flannel Check Western Shirt" from Iron Heart is the lighter alternative to the well-known UHF flannels – designed for the warmer months.

The 9oz selvedge flannel from Japan is unbrushed, dry to the touch and significantly lighter than the heavy UHF flannels, yet remains stable in construction and clear in structure.

The yarns are reactive dyed. The color bonds firmly with the fiber and thus remains stable – no classic fading, but a consistent look over time.

It is woven on rare shuttle looms in Japan, which are the only way to achieve these complex patterns. During weaving, the weft thread is changed, which creates the check in multiple layers and gives it its depth.
