The "Ivy Trousers" from JELADO come from the BLUE LABEL line and are inspired by original trousers worn at American Ivy League universities in the 1980s. The cut and details follow the historical model, while the material has been newly selected.
They are made from a striped fabric of 2/48 merino wool, meaning double-twisted yarn with a metric count of 48 – fine and smooth. The fabric is woven in a serge weave and sheared so that the surface appears clear and without fuzz. The wool gives the trousers a soft drape without the fabric feeling thin.
The silhouette is moderately cut, neither classically wide nor slim. This makes the trousers as suitable for a blazer as they are for a sweatshirt or T-shirt.
