The “Combat Winter Jacket” by THE REAL McCOY'S, also called “Tanker Jacket”, was specially developed for tank units in 1941.

To ensure sufficient freedom of movement, the jacket was designed with a back pleat ("Action Back"). Further details were deliberately omitted to avoid hindering the wearer in the confined spaces of a tank. The clean, minimalist design makes the jacket all the more of a timeless classic.

With its warm wool melton lining and ribbed cuffs and hem, it offered excellent insulation without unnecessary bulk and inspired numerous civilian designs of the 1950s and 1960s.

The 2022 edition of REAL MCCOY MFG. CO. remains true to the proportions of the 1940s and sets new standards in terms of authenticity and quality with high-quality details such as felled seams and a custom-made zipper.
