The "JM Mohair Cardigan" by The Real McCoy's revisits a 1990s classic – the piece that became a symbol of nonchalance and attitude thanks to Kurt Cobain. But its roots go deeper: In the 50s and 60s, jazz musicians and Mods wore it as part of a quiet rebellion – soft, light, yet full of character.

While conventional mohair cardigans usually use a synthetic core made of nylon or polyester, The Real McCoy's consciously relies on natural fibers: The mohair yarn is spun around a wool core yarn - denser, warmer and with more structure.

The finish is not created by machine, but by hand: Each cardigan is individually roughened with a roller machine until the surface shows this vibrant, slightly irregular fluff.
