After World War II, soldiers continued to wear their simple cotton shirts in everyday life, and workers adopted them as functional clothing for hot days. Especially in workshops and factories, a version with a chest pocket emerged, combining practical use with a clear, minimalist form.

The Real McCoy's picks up on this development, manufacturing the T-shirt in Wakayama on old circular knitting machines. This traditional production method creates a fabric without side seams, with a dense structure and noticeable weight. The 8oz Ultra Heavy Jersey feels dry and tactile, sits cleanly on the body, and retains its shape even after frequent wear and washing.
