Leather Duffle Bag Black

The "VS-200L BLACK LEATHER DUFFLE BAG" from VASCO is a modern interpretation of the so-called Bon Sac – an elongated, cylindrical bag that, according to the manufacturer, was used by US and European marines for personal items. The model can be opened via a side zipper and carried both as a duffle bag and with the detachable shoulder strap.

VASCO's characteristic "OLD OIL" cowhide leather from Himeji is processed. The full vegetable-tanned leather is hand-dyed after tanning using the traditional Oka-Zome technique and then subjected to a combination of Kogashi and oil processing. This creates the irregular surface with a vintage character typical of the OLD OIL series. Over time, the leather develops an individual patina and changes its color and shine through use.

Inside, the bag is lined with robust cotton canvas. Solid brass fittings and a WALDES zipper are used for the hardware. Measuring 27 × 55 × 27 cm, the elongated duffle bag offers ample space for luggage on shorter trips and can be carried compactly thanks to its one-piece construction.
