Leather Officer 3-Way Bag Black

According to the manufacturer, VASCO's "VS-295L Leather Officer 3Way Bag" is based on canvas bags used by US Navy officers in the 1930s and 1940s. The historical concept is particularly evident in the variable carrying options: thanks to the adjustable and repositionable shoulder straps, the bag can be carried as a tote, shoulder bag, or backpack.

The body is made from VASCO's characteristic "OLD OIL" leather, a full vegetable-tanned cowhide produced in Himeji. Mimosa and chestnut tannins are used for tanning. Afterwards, each piece of leather is hand-dyed using the traditional Oka-Zome technique, generously treated with oil, and given a special Kogashi finish. This creates the irregular, vintage-like surface for which VASCO's "OLD OIL" leather is known. With increasing use, the leather gains luster and develops an individual patina.

The interior is lined with robust 100% cotton canvas and features two pockets and a divider. Padded wool felt separation protects laptops and other delicate devices. The bag is closed with an "OLD AMERICAN" double-slider zipper. The fittings are made of solid brass.
