Leather Officer 3-Way Bag Black

The "VS-295L LEATHER OFFICER 3WAY BAG" from VASCO is a modern interpretation of canvas bags that, according to the manufacturer, were used by US Navy officers in the 1930s and 1940s. The original concept is primarily reflected in the variable carrying options: thanks to the adjustable and repositionable shoulder strap attachment, the bag can be carried as a tote, shoulder bag, or backpack.

The body is made of VASCO's characteristic "OLD OIL" leather, a fully vegetable-tanned leather produced in Himeji. Tannins from mimosa and chestnut are used for tanning. The leather is then hand-dyed piece by piece using the traditional Oka-Zome technique, generously treated with oil, and given a deliberately irregular, vintage-like surface through a special Kogashi finish. With increasing use, the leather and surface develop more shine and patina.

The interior is lined with robust 100% cotton canvas and features two pockets and a divider. A padded wool felt partition protects laptops and other sensitive devices from shocks. The bag is closed with an "OLD AMERICAN" double-slider zipper; the fittings are made of solid brass.

With its dimensions of 42 × 36 × 14 cm, the bag offers space up to B4 format and weighs approximately 1,500 g. It is manufactured in Japan.
