The "Leather Postman Bag US Mail" by VASCO is a modern interpretation of the mailbags used by American postmen in the first half of the 20th century. Its design is functional: clear, robust, and optimized for everyday use – suitable for A4 documents.

The bag is crafted from fully vegetable-tanned Kip leather from Himeji, Japan. The tanning process uses tannins from mimosa and chestnut trees. The leather is then individually hand-dyed using the traditional Oka-Zome hand-dyeing technique, followed by oiling and Kogashi finishing. This creates the characteristic surface of the VASCO Old Oil series: vibrant, with subtle color variations and a slightly vintage patina that deepens over time.

The robust canvas lining ensures stability, while a main compartment, an internal pocket, and an adjustable, detachable shoulder strap make the bag particularly practical. A carrying handle completes the functionality.
