The "Leather Postman Bag US Mail" by Vasco is modeled after the mail bags that US Mail postmen carried from the early 1900s to the 1960s.

The leather used comes from the Japanese prefecture of Himeji and is vegetable tanned with tannins from mimosa and chestnut. The leather gets its special vintage texture from a traditional dyeing process that is applied exclusively by hand with oils.
