The "LOT. 001XX Light Wash" jeans from The Real McCoy's are based on classic 5-pocket denim and evoke the classic image of worn-in denim. The wash starts right there, creating a surface that looks as if the denim has evolved over time and use.

It is made from 13.25 oz. Japanese selvedge denim with a balanced strength and pliable texture. The surface has been refined with stonewash and manual abrasion and damage treatment. This creates a uniform, organically faded look with fine irregularities, reminiscent of naturally worn vintage denim.

The idea ties into the evolution of denim culture. While "good fade" was particularly established as an aesthetic ideal in the 1990s, the appreciation for aged work denim goes back much further. This is exactly the context the wash addresses.
