The "Lot.1991 No.2 Special Jeans with Painting of Friend" by YAMANE INDUSTRIES was hand-painted exclusively for Burg & Schild. Behind the brand is Akihiko Yamane, son of Hidehiko Yamane, who founded the denim label Evisu in Osaka in 1991. In the early years, Hidehiko still painted the back pockets of his jeans by hand with a brush. The hand-painted Japanese character for "friend" continues this tradition.
The jeans are made from 14.5 oz selvedge denim with a yellow woven edge. The indigo shade has a green undertone. As each character is painted by hand individually, no two pairs are exactly alike.
Size reference: The trousers fit true to size. The model is wearing size W32 and is 184 cm tall and weighs 79 kg.
