The "Magazine Bag Horsehide" by Nigel Cabourn is made from horsehide. Horsehide is significantly rarer than cowhide and is prized above all for its dense, firm structure.

The leather is thoroughly treated with oil. This allows it to remain stiff and shape-retaining, while developing a distinct patina over time – edges, creases, and frequently touched areas will darken and gain a sheen. Scratches and color variations are inherent to this natural material.

The compact shoulder bag measures 21 × 25 × 8 cm. It closes at the top with a snap fastener and is carried by a shoulder strap with metal carabiners.
