The "Modern Beaufort Wax Sage" by Barbour is based on the Beaufort, which Margaret Barbour introduced in 1983 as a jacket for hunting – inspired by a trip to France. The modern version turns the original into a jacket for autumn and winter.

The outer shell is made of 6 oz waxed cotton. The wax repels wind and rain and can be reapplied as soon as the fabric becomes dull at creases and edges. This way, the jacket develops a patina over the years that shows its history of wear.

Clean only with a damp cloth. Please refer to the care label.
