The "Mountain Jacket" by MANIFATTURA CECCARELLI is made from waxed cotton fabric. This comes from Halley Stevenson in England, one of the best oilskin manufacturers worldwide. The high-quality fabric is extremely weather-resistant due to the wax – probably the oldest and most natural form of waterproofing.

All snap fasteners are backed on both sides with so-called "washers" made of genuine cowhide leather, which serves to reinforce and protect against buttons tearing out. Another quality feature is the high-quality 2-way zippers from YKK, which are also produced in Italy.
