The Rowac Bauhaus Stool – Naked Steel Edition brings a nearly forgotten piece of industrial history back to its most original form.

The original design dates back to the early 20th century: a workshop stool by ROWAC, developed in the Bauhaus environment. There, the idea emerged to design furniture not decoratively, but based on its function – clear, stackable, durable, and built for daily use.

For this edition, the approach was radically reduced. No wood, no combination of materials – just steel. The stool consists entirely of naked, untreated metal and brings exactly this directness into the room: stable, sober, without any distraction.

The form remains unchanged: three legs, clear construction, conceptually designed for maximum stability with minimal material usage. Precisely this reduction was already the core of the design back then.

The pure steel construction creates an object that functions both indoors and outdoors and develops its own surface over time – depending on use, environment, and traces of everyday life.
