Old Joe's "Sailor Collar Chore Jacket" plays with familiar workwear forms, shifting them in a different direction. The collar is key: compact, slightly rounded, somewhere between a classic sailor collar and a minimalist shawl collar variant. This noticeably alters the silhouette – calmer, clearer, almost elegant.

Made from a specially developed 9.6oz denim that deliberately distinguishes itself from the usual. Short-staple cotton fibers are used in the warp, giving the fabric its dry, slightly grainy surface. The weft uses a blend of US, Australian, and Brazilian cotton, twisted for a firm, almost crisp feel.

The color: a deep indigo, rope-dyed. Rich, dark, with great potential for distinctive aging marks. A special sanforization process preserves exactly what makes raw denim special – the slight unevenness in the weave, the fine hairs on the surface that develop their own character over time.
