Sugar Cane's "SC40401 Hawaii Jeans" brings back a fabric that only they can create. 14oz "Hawaii Denim," woven from cotton and sugarcane fibers – a blend that directly references Hawaii's history.

Sugarcane shaped the islands for decades, as did the people who worked there – many of them with roots in Japan. This very connection is where the idea behind the material originated. Not a gimmick, but a fabric with genuine relevance.

This is immediately apparent in its feel. Slightly drier, a little uneven in surface, with a texture that distinguishes it from pure cotton denim. The denim appears vibrant, almost raw, and develops exactly the traces you desire over time.

The cut is based on late 1940s jeans. High rise, straight leg, clean drape – the classic "stovepipe" fit. Sits comfortably, works for everyday wear, and improves with every wear.
