The "Fairisle Crew Neck Jumper" by BARBOUR features a knit pattern originating from Fair Isle, a small island between the Orkney and Shetland archipelagos. The multi-colored technique developed there, with its characteristic geometric bands, became particularly well-known in the 1920s when the then Prince of Wales wore the pattern in public.
Made in Scotland, this sweater is crafted from pure wool and combines the traditional pattern with a bold, vibrant color palette. Wool brings its natural properties to the garment: it provides warmth, absorbs moisture, and helps regulate body temperature in changing conditions.
The patterned center panel is framed by solid-colored ribbed trim at the crew neck, cuffs, and hem. The fit is regular.
