The "SD-1001 Jeans" by Studio D'Artisan is made from a unique Japanese fabric. GL3 15 oz Selvedge denim made with a slub structure.

The GL3 loom, developed by Toyota over 50 years ago, was Japan's first mechanical loom and is now a true unique piece. Since no spare parts are produced anymore, it is only operated with reused components from decommissioned machines – a laborious and slow process. The GL3 weaves only about 5 meters of denim per hour, which makes the fabric a true classic with a striking, irregular texture and authentic vintage character – exactly what defines workwear denim.

Note: The jeans run about two sizes smaller – W34 therefore corresponds to a regular W32.
