Das "Lot 4064 Hawaiian Surfer T-Shirt" von Warehouse & Co. gehört zur „2nd Hand Series“ und greift die Idee eines bereits eingetragenen Surf- und Freizeitshirts auf, wie es über Jahre im Einsatz war.
Gefertigt aus unregelmäßig gesponnenem Baumwolljersey aus Wakayama entsteht eine Oberfläche mit leichter Spannung und natürlicher Unruhe im Garnlauf. Der Stoff wirkt zunächst kompakt, löst sich mit dem Tragen jedoch langsam auf und entwickelt die typische weiche, leicht gebrochene Struktur klassischer Vintage-T-Shirts.
Die „Second Hand Series“ setzt genau auf diesen Effekt: ein Materialbild, das nicht neu wirkt, sondern bereits eine erste Gebrauchsspuren-Ästhetik trägt, ohne künstliche Alterung.
Der „Hawaiian Surfer“-Print greift grafische Elemente klassischer Surf- und Resortwear auf und sitzt so auf dem Stoff, dass er sich nicht als separate Schicht liest, sondern mit der Oberfläche arbeitet. Mit der Zeit verbindet sich die Grafik stärker mit dem Jersey, während Farbe und Struktur weiter ineinander übergehen.
