The Service Boot® is the cornerstone of Viberg. Edwin Viberg set out in the 1930s to create what he believed to be the most durable and well-crafted boot for agricultural and field workers.

It is made from Maryam Horsebutt, a vegetable-tanned horse leather from Italy with a particularly dense fiber structure in the rear part of the hide. This so-called Horsebutt section is characterized by high material density, low stretch, and a clean, closed surface. The natural grain remains visible and is further smoothed by a slightly waxy finish layer.
