The "4113 Short Sleeve Striped T-Shirt" by Warehouse & Co. harks back to striped athletic and swimwear shirts from the first half of the 20th century. During this period, striking striped patterns were frequently used in sportswear and training apparel, partly for functional reasons and partly for better visibility during active use.

The t-shirt is made in Japan from a 30/2 cotton jersey with an irregular stripe pattern, knitted on old circular knitting machines in Wakayama. The low-tension processing creates a slightly uneven texture in the fabric, which is typical for Warehouse's "Shadow Border" quality. At first glance, the surface appears even, but on closer inspection, it reveals a fine, lively irregularity in the yarn run.
