The "RDT-A21 Skrik" by ROLLING DUB TRIO interprets the classic farmer boot as worn on farms in the American South. To achieve this, the brand combines the sweeping lines of a Western work boot with their A-series last, which features a softly rounded toe. The name refers to Edvard Munch's painting "The Scream," titled "Skrik" in Norwegian. The wide-open, flowing contour of the boot shaft provided the inspiration for this naming.
The upper is made of Esprit de Chrome, a robust, supple kip leather from French rawhide. It is chrome-tanned and has a slightly elastic feel. The choice of leather and the craftsmanship are designed to ensure the most uniform creasing possible during wear. The black top coat is applied using a tea-core process over a brown base tone. At points of creasing and friction, this base tone may emerge over time.
The boot is Goodyear welted. The outsole consists of an original cork crepe sole from The Boots Factory. It is complemented by the brand’s own AR heel with a specified height of 20 mm. For care, the manufacturer recommends The Boots Factory Boots Oil or mink oil.
ROLLING DUB TRIO manufactures in their own facility, "The Boots Factory," in Asakusa in the Taitō district of Tokyo.
Attention: Runs large! Compared to Red Wing Shoes, they run one size larger.
