The "SLUB YARN T-SHIRT VMA-223" (BR79732) from Buzz Rickson's is based on a classic military T-shirt and combines it with a distinctive print of the US Marine Attack Squadron VMA-223. The squadron has a long history of service within US Marine Corps Aviation and exemplifies the combination of Naval Air Power and operational deployment practice in the 20th century.

The T-shirt is made from a specially developed slub yarn jersey of 100% cotton. Yarns of varying twists create an irregular, slightly grainy surface with a noticeable texture. This material feel echoes the look of early knitwear, where manufacturing tolerances in the yarn structure were still common and gave the fabric a lively surface.

A minimalist VMA-223 print is placed on the front, while the back features a large squadron graphic. The combination of a clean front and a striking back echoes the visual language of classic military print shirts.
