SP-110 45th Anniversary 16 oz. Kakishibu Dye Regular Straight

The "SP-101 Jeans" by Studio D'Artisan were created to celebrate the label's 45th anniversary and are a true homage to Japanese craftsmanship.

Simple and precisely designed, these jeans impress with an outstandingly textured surface. The 16oz Extreme Slub Selvedge Denim in warm brown is made from slub yarn, whose rough texture gives the fabric a unique feel. Combined with warp threads woven with the traditional Japanese " When treated with "Kakishibu Dye", a striking, irregular structure is created.

Kakishibu Dye is a traditional Japanese dyeing technique that uses the juice of the persimmon fruit to dye fabrics a deep brown to black color. This natural dye not only gives the pants a unique look but also creates a special patina that develops over time.

The selvedge is adorned with a sashiko pattern of persimmon leaves. These features not only give the jeans a powerful feel but also reflect the masterful craftsmanship of Japanese denim manufacturing.

Note: The jeans run about two sizes smaller – W34 therefore corresponds to a regular W32.
