Die "SB-152 Steer Oil Hooded Parka" von Y’2 LEATHER bringt die entspannte Form eines klassischen Hooded Parkas in Leder. Statt schwerer, steifer Konstruktion setzt Y’2 dabei auf ein besonders weiches Steer Oil Leather, das für eine Lederjacke ungewöhnlich geschmeidig ausfällt.
Das etwa 1,3 mm starke Rindsleder wird langsam im Trommelverfahren ausschließlich mit Wasser und Farbstoffen gefärbt. Auf Pigmente verzichtet Y’2 bewusst, sodass natürliche Narben, Kratzer und Abriebstellen sichtbar bleiben und jedes Leder eine leicht individuelle Färbung entwickelt. Durch seinen hohen Ölgehalt fühlt sich das Leder weich und feucht-ölig an – laut Y’2 kaum so, wie man es von klassischem Rindsleder erwarten würde.
Für zusätzlichen Bewegungsspielraum ist die Jacke mit einem Stretch-Baumwollfutter ausgestattet. Dazu kommen ein WALDES-Reißverschluss und Y’2s eigenes Rippstrickmaterial an den Abschlüssen.
