The "SS-13 Oiled Steerhide Western Shirt" is Y'2 Leathers' interpretation of a classic Western shirt.
The approximately 1.3 mm thick steerhide is slowly dyed in drums with water-based color and then oiled. The result is a leather that falls exceptionally soft, is supple and hardly looks like typical cowhide – almost like deer leather.
The shirt follows the slim Western silhouette: front and back yoke panels, two Western-style chest pockets, and darts for a clean fit. The front and sleeves close with sturdy, brown-marbled mother-of-pearl snaps. The black leather is non-tea core – the color stays deep black and doesn't change to brown.
The jacket is fully lined with nylon in the body and sleeves, for comfortable wear without compromise. Whether worn open as an overshirt or closed under a jacket.
