The "SS39477 "The Space Ship" Special Edition Hawaiian Shirt" from Sun Surf is based on a rare original design from the late 1950s. Under the original brand name KUONAKAKAI, Aloha shirts of this kind were created during the peak of Hawaiian tourism as striking souvenir textiles with a strong graphic character.

The shirt is made of filament rayon with a flowing drape and a smooth surface. The all-over print is applied using the discharge printing method, where the motif is bleached out of the dyed fabric. This preserves the soft handfeel of the material, while the print appears deeply integrated into the fiber structure.
